July 18, 2022: Relocation Project for the Lanzhou-Chongqing Finished Oil Pipeline at Guangyuan High-Speed Rail Express Logistics Base

The Guangyuan High-Speed Rail Express Logistics Base Realignment Project for the Lanzhou-Chengdu-Yu Oil Pipeline is located in Panlong Town, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. Based on the design requirements outlined in the "Lanzhou-Chengdu-Yu Oil Pipeline Guangyuan High-Speed Rail Express Logistics Base Realignment Project Design" and the results of on-site surveys, it is proposed to reroute the Lanzhou-Chengdu-Yu oil pipeline within the logistics base construction impact zone of the Guangyuan High-Speed Rail Express Logistics Base. Currently, the preliminary trial pressure testing for the pipeline realignment has been successfully completed, meeting all necessary conditions for plugging and connecting operations. As a result, the Lanzhou-Chengdu-Yu Oil Pipeline Branch has organized and initiated the hot-work plugging and connecting activities for this critical project. The main construction tasks include: nitrogen purging of the newly constructed pipeline section and nitrogen-driven oil displacement in the existing pipeline. The new pipeline segment measures D508mm and spans 3.41 km in total, with 1.73 km undergoing nitrogen purging and 1.68 km utilizing nitrogen to push oil through the old pipeline.
