April 12, 2024: Tightness Test at the 10 MPa Level, Guiyang Branch Station of the National Oil and Gas High-Flow Measurement Station
In April 2024, our company undertook the critical project of conducting a comprehensive system tightness test at the Guiyang Natural Gas High-Flow Metering Station—a key initiative for the Southwest Pipeline Company of China Oil & Gas Pipeline Network Group. Addressing the high-pressure safety risks associated with pipeline valve flanges in the calibration facility—such as liquid nitrogen-induced frostbite and nitrogen asphyxiation—the project team completed the timely deployment of equipment and personnel around the clock. This included bringing into operation cutting-edge equipment like a 35 MPa liquid nitrogen heating pump truck. To ensure safety, we innovatively implemented a "Three-Step Risk Control Method" (Identify Risks → Develop Mitigation Measures → Enforce Strictly), bolstered by eight robust safety measures: securing anti-disconnection pipelines, deploying specialized anti-freeze gear, conducting real-time oxygen level monitoring, and maintaining constant ambulance readiness. Over the course of three days, we meticulously executed an 8-phase pressurization process (incremental boosts from 1 to 10 MPa), culminating in a flawless zero-leakage delivery at 9:00 a.m. on April 12, following verification by the client. Achieving both "zero accidents under high-pressure conditions" and "zero schedule delays," our team delivered exceptional technical support that played a pivotal role in ensuring the safe commissioning of this national energy measurement hub. As a result, the client highly praised us, commending our "outstanding technical capabilities" and "highly efficient team collaboration."
