October 25, 2022: Qingning Pipeline and Sichuan Gas to East China Nanjing Branch Pipeline – Nitrogen Pressure Testing, Nitrogen Purging, and Drying Project

In October 2022, our company was urgently tasked with the critical responsibility of nitrogen pressure testing, purging, and hot-work safety support for the newly constructed branch pipeline connecting to the Nanjing West Gas Transmission Station. Facing the stringent safety requirements of this national-level energy hub, our team arrived promptly at the Yangzhou construction site on October 28th and meticulously executed the project in two precise phases: Phase 1 (October 30), which took 7.5 hours to complete the DN600 pipeline purging and a high-pressure test at 6.6 MPa; and Phase 2 (November 8), where we efficiently completed the station-to-branch pipeline replacement in just 5.7 hours—all monitoring points passed inspection on the first attempt. Throughout the entire process, we rigorously adhered to hot-work safety protocols, successfully managing the high-risk challenges posed by operations within the station area. Thanks to our unwavering commitment to safety and quality, we earned dual recognition from both the client and the project owner, delivering exceptional performance without a single safety or quality incident. This achievement not only solidified our technical expertise but also provided crucial support for the safe upgrade of the West-to-East Gas Pipeline network.
