September 18, 2024: High-Sulfur Unit Helium-Nitrogen Pressure Testing and Leak Detection Joint Project by the Northeast Sichuan Operations Branch

Facing the challenging operational conditions of the high-sulfur-containing equipment at the Chuanbei Northeast Operations Branch, along with extreme 40°C temperatures, our company strategically coordinated personnel, equipment, and liquid nitrogen resources. Leveraging insights from similar past projects through tabletop simulations, we organized comprehensive, company-wide training sessions on specialized topics such as hydrogen sulfide protection, the SABA system, and the five-in-one detection tool. This ensured a thorough "personnel-equipment-environment" three-dimensional safety briefing was conducted for all team members. During construction, we rigorously adhered to the pre-shift risk alert mechanism and maintained a relentless 24-hour, shift-based work schedule, enabling seamless, round-the-clock progress. As a result, we successfully completed the helium-nitrogen pressure testing and leak detection integration within an impressive 24-day timeframe—delivering the project on time with "zero accidents and zero delays." The client highly praised our team for their ability to "tackle tough challenges, execute critical tasks, and deliver outstanding results," underscoring Host's exceptional expertise in specialized operations within high-sulfur oil and gas fields. Moving forward, the project team will systematically analyze and document their experiences working under extreme heat conditions, continuously refining our technical capabilities to ensure top-notch performance in future major energy projects.
