August 11, 2022: Yuanba First Station Metering Upgrade Project – Nitrogen Purging Project

This project is located at the nitrogen injection point in Yuanba First Station. The project scope primarily includes a 22-kilometer-long D1016mm-diameter pipeline for the connecting line and a 34-kilometer-long D406mm-diameter pipeline for the Yuanlang Line.
According to Party A's arrangement, the project must be completed during the planned shutdown and maintenance period at the Yuanba Purification Plant. The nitrogen displacement process, serving as the first step of the entire project, is crucial in kicking off the major renovation work.
This year, the prolonged heatwave across the entire Southwest region has forced liquid nitrogen manufacturers to implement power restrictions, leading to a drop in production capacity. To ensure the smooth progress of this project, our company has gone to great lengths—sourcing liquid nitrogen from multiple provinces including Chongqing, Sichuan, and Shaanxi—to secure the necessary supply for the project.
On August 11 at 2:00 PM, nitrogen purging of the station area and connecting lines commenced as per Party A's instructions. By 12:00 PM, the purging process in these areas was successfully completed, and the nitrogen injection point was adjusted to begin purging the Yuanlang Line. By 4:00 AM on August 12, the Yuanlang Line had also passed inspection, marking the successful completion of the entire project's nitrogen purging operation.
During the project, the outdoor temperature in Yuanba consistently stayed above 40°C. Despite the scorching heat, our company’s employees remained steadfast at their posts, working continuously for over 20 hours—clearly demonstrating Host’s legendary "iron man" spirit.
