May 27, 2020: Hot Work Connection and Nitrogen Purging Project for the Zhonggui Natural Gas Pipeline

During the inspection of weld joints on the Zhonggui Natural Gas Pipeline, the Lancheng-Yu Oil Transmission Branch identified critical defects—weld cracks—that posed significant risks to pipeline safety. To eliminate these hazardous defects and mitigate the substantial risk they posed to safe operations, Southwest Pipeline Company has organized a project to replace the defective sections of the Zhonggui Natural Gas Pipeline with new pipe segments. Upon receiving notification from the project owner, our company was awarded the contract to provide nitrogen displacement services for this critical task. In response, we immediately mobilized our team and specialized equipment, ensuring that 120 tons of liquid nitrogen were promptly delivered and ready for deployment at the site. Every effort we make is dedicated to safeguarding the well-being of everyone involved—and contributing to the safe and reliable operation of the natural gas pipeline system.
